Meet and greet at the airport, explained

What actually happens between landing and getting in the car, and what to do if you cannot find your chauffeur.

Where your chauffeur waits

On a meet and greet, your chauffeur parks and walks into the terminal rather than circling the arrivals road. They wait in the baggage claim hall for your flight, holding a sign with the lead passenger's name on it.

The exact meeting point differs by terminal, so it is written in your confirmation email. At airports where baggage claim is secure or unusually large, the meeting point moves to the nearest public exit and the confirmation says so.

What happens if you land early or late

Every airport booking is tracked against the flight number you give us. If the flight lands 40 minutes late, the pickup moves 40 minutes later at no charge. If it lands early, the chauffeur is told to be there early.

This is why the flight number matters more than the scheduled time when you book. Without it we are guessing from a timetable.

Included waiting time

Waiting starts when the aircraft lands, not when it was scheduled to. International arrivals include 60 minutes and domestic arrivals 30, which covers immigration, baggage and the walk out.

If you are delayed beyond that, tell us. Extra waiting is charged, and the rate is in your confirmation so there is no surprise.

If you cannot find each other

Call or message the number in your confirmation. Dispatch can see where the chauffeur is standing and will guide you to them, or move you both to a simpler meeting point outside.

Do not leave the terminal to look for the car. Your chauffeur is on foot inside, and stepping outside makes finding each other harder.
