NEW pickup guide: Lakefront

How chauffeur pickups work at Lakefront (NEW), serving New Orleans: where you are met, what waiting is included, and what to send when you book.

Arriving at NEW

Lakefront handles private aviation for New Orleans. Chauffeurs meet the aircraft at the FBO rather than a terminal, so we need the tail number and the FBO name rather than a flight number.

MSY is about 25 minutes from the French Quarter outside peak hours, longer during festival weekends.

What is included

Flight tracking on every pickup, so a delayed landing moves the pickup with it at no charge. International arrivals include 60 minutes of waiting from touchdown and domestic arrivals 30.

Your chauffeur carries your bags to the car. The meeting point for your terminal is written in the confirmation email.

Getting into New Orleans

Most journeys from NEW run to French Quarter, Central Business District, Garden District, Warehouse District and the rest of the metro.

Street closures during parades and festivals reshape the map for weeks at a time, and pickup points move with them.

What to send when you book

The tail number, the FBO, the expected arrival window, passenger count and luggage.
