JHM pickup guide: Kapalua

How chauffeur pickups work at Kapalua (JHM), serving Maui: where you are met, what waiting is included, and what to send when you book.

Arriving at JHM

Kapalua handles private aviation for Maui. Chauffeurs meet the aircraft at the FBO rather than a terminal, so we need the tail number and the FBO name rather than a flight number.

Kahului is the island's gateway, about 40 minutes from the Wailea resorts and a similar run up to Kaanapali.

What is included

Flight tracking on every pickup, so a delayed landing moves the pickup with it at no charge. International arrivals include 60 minutes of waiting from touchdown and domestic arrivals 30.

Your chauffeur carries your bags to the car. The meeting point for your terminal is written in the confirmation email.

Getting into Maui

Most journeys from JHM run to Kahului, Wailea, Kaanapali, Lahaina area and the rest of the metro.

Island distances are short and slow, and the drive out to Hana is a full-day booking rather than a transfer.

What to send when you book

The tail number, the FBO, the expected arrival window, passenger count and luggage.
