Every airport pickup is tracked against your flight number. If the aircraft lands late, the pickup moves with it at no charge, and your chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim with a name sign rather than waiting on the arrivals road.
Where journeys actually go
Most Detroit bookings run between the airports and Downtown Detroit, Midtown, Birmingham, Royal Oak. We also cover Troy, Dearborn, Ann Arbor, Auburn Hills and the rest of the metro.
A good share of the work runs between the airport, the Oakland County suburbs and the engineering campuses, with winter weather planned for.
When the city is busy
Demand here is driven by automotive industry travel, auto show and event weeks, winter weather. Those are the weeks when vehicles book out first, so a booking made early is worth more than a booking made carefully.
Venues that generate regular work include Huntington Place, the Shinola Hotel, Little Caesars Arena. For events at any of them, we agree the drop-off point in advance rather than discovering on the night that the entrance is closed to traffic.
Leaving town
Regular long-distance runs from Detroit go to Ann Arbor, Toledo, Grand Rapids, Chicago. Door to door in one car often beats a short flight once airport time is counted, and it is usually cheaper than several separate fares once a group is involved.
