Most scheduled traffic uses Raleigh-Durham International (RDU).

Where journeys actually go

Work here spreads across three downtowns rather than one, so hourly booking suits days that touch more than one of them.
When the city is busy
Demand here is driven by Research Triangle employers, university and medical travel, graduation weekends. Those are the weeks when vehicles book out first, so a booking made early is worth more than a booking made carefully.
Venues that generate regular work include the Raleigh Convention Center, the Umstead Hotel, Duke University. For events at any of them, we agree the drop-off point in advance rather than discovering on the night that the entrance is closed to traffic.
Leaving town
Regular long-distance runs from Raleigh-Durham go to Charlotte, Greensboro, Wilmington, Richmond. Door to door in one car often beats a short flight once airport time is counted, and it is usually cheaper than several separate fares once a group is involved.
