The J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference compresses an entire industry's deal-making into a few days around Union Square. Attendees run back-to-back meetings — often twenty or thirty minutes each — across a small number of hotels and a great many private meeting rooms.
It is simultaneously the easiest and the hardest ground-transport problem we handle: the distances are tiny, but the schedule is unforgiving and January in San Francisco is wet.
