New York Fashion Week
Fashion Week is a scheduling problem more than a transport one. Shows run to tight slots at venues scattered from Tribeca to the Brooklyn waterfront, and the gap between them is frequently shorter than the journey.
This is home ground for us, and the work is familiar: a car and chauffeur assigned for the day who learns the pattern, holds the garments and samples between shows, and is already in position when you come out.
Getting Around New York Fashion Week
The schedule does not allow for traffic
Back-to-back shows at distant venues are the norm. Hourly as-directed is the only booking that survives the day.
Venues change every season
There is no fixed circuit. Each season uses different spaces, and the practical drop-off points change with them.
Kerb space is contested
Show venues attract a crush of vehicles at exactly the same moment. Your chauffeur stages nearby rather than circling.
Samples and garments
Much of what moves during the week is not people. A vehicle that stays with you doubles as somewhere secure to keep things between appointments.
