Planning wedding-day transportation

A running order for wedding cars, from the morning preparations to the last guest shuttle.

Start from the ceremony time

Work backwards. Pick the ceremony time, subtract the drive, subtract 15 minutes of contingency, and that is when cars arrive at the hotel. Everything else is built around that anchor.

Who needs a car

The couple, the wedding party, immediate family, and any guests without their own transport. Out-of-town guests usually need airport pickups the day before as well.

Guest shuttles

For guests, a Sprinter or mini coach running a loop between hotel and venue beats individual cars. Plan for two runs before the ceremony and a staggered return afterwards, with a late departure for those who stay to the end.

The getaway car

Book the last car later than you think. Receptions overrun, and a car sitting outside is cheaper than a scramble at midnight.

Confirm a week out

Numbers change. We reconfirm vehicles, timings and contacts in the final week, and on the day one person at Executifs holds the plan and knows where each car is.
