Most scheduled traffic uses Richmond International (RIC).
Every airport pickup is tracked against your flight number. If the aircraft lands late, the pickup moves with it at no charge, and your chauffeur meets you inside at baggage claim with a name sign rather than waiting on the arrivals road.
Where journeys actually go
Most Richmond bookings run between the airports and Downtown Richmond, The Fan, Scott's Addition, Shockoe Bottom. We also cover Short Pump, Midlothian, Glen Allen and the rest of the metro.
Journeys north to Washington are frequent enough that many clients book them as a standing weekly ride.
When the city is busy
Demand here is driven by state government and legal work, university travel, corridor journeys to Washington. Those are the weeks when vehicles book out first, so a booking made early is worth more than a booking made carefully.
Venues that generate regular work include the Greater Richmond Convention Center, the Jefferson Hotel, the Virginia State Capitol. For events at any of them, we agree the drop-off point in advance rather than discovering on the night that the entrance is closed to traffic.
Leaving town
Regular long-distance runs from Richmond go to Washington, DC, Virginia Beach, Charlottesville, Norfolk. Door to door in one car often beats a short flight once airport time is counted, and it is usually cheaper than several separate fares once a group is involved.
