The Academy Awards
Oscar night is the most tightly choreographed arrival in American entertainment. Hollywood Boulevard closes days in advance for the build, vehicle access is credentialed, and arrivals run to a schedule set by the broadcast rather than by the guests.
The surrounding week carries as much work as the night itself: nominee events, studio parties and afterparties spread across Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and Downtown.
Getting Around The Academy Awards
Hollywood Boulevard closes early
The build begins well before the ceremony and closures extend for days. Normal routes through Hollywood do not apply that week.
Arrivals are scheduled, not chosen
Credentialed vehicles arrive in an assigned window. Being early is as much a problem as being late, so the chauffeur stages and times the final approach.
Afterparties run until dawn
The night does not end with the ceremony. Movements between venues continue into the early hours, and a car that waits is the only workable arrangement.
Discretion is assumed
Chauffeurs working this week do not discuss passengers, destinations or schedules with anyone.

Can you handle a credentialed arrival?
Yes. Send us the credential and the assigned window and the chauffeur will stage and time the approach to it.
Will the car wait for the afterparties?
Yes — hourly as-directed is the standard booking for Oscar night for exactly that reason.
Can we have an NDA?
Yes, arranged before the booking rather than at the kerb.
