New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival
Jazz Fest runs at the Fair Grounds Race Course in Mid-City, a residential area with very limited parking and narrow surrounding streets. Most attendees stay in the Quarter, the Garden District or Uptown and travel across each day.
The festival also anchors a much larger programme of night shows across the city, which means the transport demand does not end when the gates close.

Mid-City is residential
Streets around the Fair Grounds are narrow with resident parking restrictions. Drop-off and collection work best at agreed points a short walk from the gates.
Night shows run late
Club shows across the city run into the early hours, and the crowd moving between them is a large part of the week's demand.
Rain turns the ground
The Fair Grounds is grass and dirt. Heavy spring rain makes the site genuinely difficult and raises demand for cars sharply.
Two weekends
Like Coachella, the event spans two weekends, with the middle weekdays quieter.

Yes. We run 24 hours and the night programme is a normal part of Jazz Fest work.
How close to the gates can we be dropped?
A short walk, at an agreed point — the immediate streets are residential and restricted.
What happens if it rains?
Demand spikes, so a car booked in advance is worth far more than one you try to find on the day.
